The American Medical system and , It needs more then DR.PHIL.

America's medical system is in trouble most people under medicare coverage is in debt...Medicare itself is in debt. Alot of veterans from the War in Iraq...which I believe is nessasiry. I'm speaking as a Canadian with a very good friend who served as an officer in American Military and served his tour of duty. He speaks of all the changes that have happened there since they came in. Alot of it is not seen by the public eye and over looked by the media. Alot of veterans are suffering from PSTD, Limb loss and everything....but can't get the assistance they need. In gaining some decent prosthetic limbs and the counceling they need. I have scores of amputee friends in the united states who can't even get there legs....based on the fact they can't afford it. A pethora of amputees in the united states make under 50,000$ per year from jobs. A proper artificial limbs costs 60 Grand and adult limb and 30 grand for a child who goes through limbs like they go through pants because they GROW. But collectively the family might see 70 grand per year max between wife and husband. America is a great nation don't get me wrong. But there needs to be a huge change.
Weather it be a re-diverting of public taxes. Cutting back on sports funding and diverting it to the medical needs of america. Whats more important healthy americans or american's that can play golf?
It's funny we are the most taxed nation in the world. However when something is need medically. It's there for us because of being tax supported. Cancer patients don't have 100 of thousands of dollers taken from there pocket because they got sick! they were covered. You don't hear about soldiers from canadian who are in Afganistan, Iraq and Iran. We have lost 103 troopers since the commencement...and some of them killed in friendly fire by american's so we have a presence in this war against terror as well. Just so it's known. But are vets are taken care of we support them through taxes. What about the american's would you not rather have a couple percent tax increase, and a little cut back on sports and other government supported things that are not as big? to see these people be alright?
It's just buggin me right now....american vets are falling through the cracks. because the VA's arnt doing there job. I'm just tick excuse this rand. But what about your opinions on this.
America is sending 10 billion to Iraq per-month....they need to cut that back to 9 and then atleast have a billion on the home front to take care of these things.
like these soldiers falling apart from after effects. They did this country proud! American soldiers did Canada proud.....Canadian soldiers did canadians proud. Just as North AMerica's soldiers did this continent proud. Should we not step up! and help them and do them proud.. For all they've done for us...with out the military we would be gone, This nation would be under communisim, europe would be gone...so we owe it to the military, the trooops to take care of them.
ALso government official should learn about 3 and 4 star hotels, and how to take less vacations that'll save a good chunk of money there
